luxurious traditional fruit cake. Various flavours of buttercream and preserves can be accommodated, however for wedding cakes two choices is normally sufficient. In some cases gluten-free alternatives can also be supplied. All cakes are covered in a marzipan layer before the rolled fondant/sugar paste layer is added. This locks-in moisture and provides a good clean base for the icing. For those who are not keen on marzipan, cakes can be covered with a double layer of sugar paste if preferred.
